Forum posts with optimized anchor texts “Links within widgets” Examples of malicious links So that you can get an idea of these “types of links”, I have picked out a few – some really nasty – examples for you. Keyword link in the footer:keyword link in the footer Keyword link in an article directory:example of an article directory Keyword link in purchased or exchanged items: link on link exchange Example 1 for a link that was probably bought or exchanged. Example of link purchase Example 2 for a link that was probably bought or exchanged.
Purchased link example Example 3 for a link that was probably bought or exchanged. Purchased/exchanged item Special Data without keyword link:purchased link Off-topic links from sidebars: sidebar link example Web catalogs without thematic reference: web catalog example In this example there are not only keyword links, but also entries in several languages. Blog comments with keyword links: blog comment example And no – the linked page is NOT called “online casino test”. Fake forum link: forum link example The answer here is particularly nice.

Someone realized that the link was obviously not real. How to identify “poor quality” pages If you are unsure whether a site is “real”, just pay attention to the following points: Does the site have a logo? Do the items offer added value? Do the items have different item images? Does the page cover an explicit topic? (or is it a hodgepodge of topics thrown together?) Do the posts only contain useful and meaningful external links? (or does the site seem more like a link slinger?) Is there a reputable imprint? Does the site appear well-maintained.
